Short answer. Almost every deposit bonus limits the size of each bet while the requirement is open. The cap sets the minimum number of bets: turnover ÷ max bet. €4,000 at €5 is 800 spins; €10,000 at €6 is 1,667; €250,000 (Pin-Up's €5,000 cap at 50×) at €6 is 41,667 spins in 72 hours.

Why the rule exists
Without a cap a player could bet the whole bonus once at even odds and either double it or lose it, which converts a bonus into a coin flip with the casino's money. The cap forces many small bets, which lets the house edge accumulate over the full turnover. It is the same reason minimal-risk bets (red and black together) are excluded by BitStarz 3.18.
FAQ
What happens if I bet more than the max bet? At Pin-Up the excess simply does not count. At BitStarz, Cloudbet and most others it is a breach that can void the bonus and winnings. Read the clause; the calculator flags the cap in its pace output.
Does the max bet apply to bonus-buy features? At BitStarz, yes, explicitly.
Does the cap apply after wagering is complete? No. Once the requirement is met the bonus funds move to the real balance and normal limits apply.
