Short answer. "Wagering on deposit and bonus" (D+B) means the multiplier applies to the sum of what you deposited and what the casino added. At a 100% match that doubles the turnover compared with the same multiplier on the bonus alone: $100 deposit + $100 bonus at 30× = $6,000, while 40× on a $100 bonus = $4,000. Stake's help centre describes D+B for its partner deposit bonuses ("$200 x 30 = $6,000"). BitStarz, Pin-Up, 22Bet, Megapari and Betwinner apply the multiplier to the bonus amount. Always convert a D+B multiplier to "times the bonus" before comparing: at a 100% match, multiply by two; at 50%, by three; at 200%, by 1.5.
Conversion table
| Match | D+B multiplier | Equivalent multiplier on the bonus |
|---|---|---|
| 50% | 20× | 60× |
| 100% | 20× | 40× |
| 100% | 30× | 60× |
| 100% | 35× | 70× |
| 150% | 30× | 50× |
| 200% | 30× | 45× |
Formula: equivalent = D+B multiplier × (1 + 1 ÷ match). The larger the match, the smaller the penalty, which is why D+B terms often sit next to generous-looking percentages.

How to spot the base
- Look for the words "deposit and bonus", "deposit + bonus", "D+B" or "the sum of the deposit and the bonus" in the wagering clause.
- "Wager the bonus 35 times" or "x35 the bonus amount" means bonus-only.
- BitStarz's 3.22 ("Wagering with both the bonus money and your deposited cash will count towards the wagering requirement") is not a D+B base: it says which funds' bets count, while 3.4 sets the base as the bonus.
- If the rules do not say, the progress bar in your account after activation will: it shows the target turnover.
